STRUCTURES AND PROPERTIES :
  Ac frequency conversion transmission is adopted for the centrifuge. In the process of cyclic auto-cycle operation, the frequency conversion stepless speed variation can meet, to a maximum extent, the requirement of rotating speed by low-speed feeding, high-speed separating and low-speed discharging. In accordance with the variation in material properties, a corresponding point of rotating speed can be provided to optimize the operation. For the speed reduction of the centrifuge, dynamic braking is adopted and the mechanical energy of the drum can be turned into electric energy which, by means of reverse conversion device and LCL filter device, is made into pollution free, green electric feedback new work, with evident energy-frugal effect.
 Programmable controller (PLC) is adopted for the electric control and on the operation display screen, time setting can be conducted for individual working processes and the real-time working status of the individual working processes can be displayed, in addition to flexible, easy and convenient operation.
 Full auto-cycle operation of individual working processes of the whole machine is realized by means of electric, pneumatical and mechanical joint control system.
 The parts of the centrifuge that contact the material to be processed are made of austenitic stainless steel (according to user’s need), ensuring the cleanness and hygiene in the whole process of production.
 The centrifuge enjoys compact structure and smooth operation. Large volume capacity, high rotating speeding, high separating efficiency, large processing capacity, high automization, low noise, low labor strength
Working principle:

 Top suspension centrifuge mainly consists of electric motor, rotating system, frame, casing, brake, sugar brake, purging, washing and electric control systems. In terms of the structure, the transmission is placed on the top and shaft coupling. The drum (a thin-walled metal cylinder with many liquor drainage holes on it) is fixed at the bottom end of the main shaft, and the top end of the main shaft is suspended inside the spherical bearing chamber by means of a single row of centripetal thrust ball bearings and cylindrical roller bearing, with the spherical surface supported by the bearing chamber seat and in between the spherical surfaces there is a sliding pad (teflon) for antifriction. Such a set of rotating system is fixed on the frame. Between the bearing chambers, there is the rubber buffer to form a kind of flexible support. During the operation of the drum, in case the disturbing force should be generated due to the imbalance of the material, the spherical surface of the bearing chamber could slightly swing, and by means of the damping effect of the rubber buffer, the swinging amplitude of the main shaft rotating is controlled to a certain extent. Meanwhile, the damping effect of the buffer absorbs part of the vibrational energy, realizing better vibration reduction. Thanks to the flexible structure of the main shaft system, automatic centering can be realized during the high-speed operation, ensuring smooth running as well as the safety and reliability of the machine.

 The operation principle of the top suspension centrifuge is: to pour the suspension liquid to be separated into the drum; during high-speed rotation, the liquid is licked off from the drum under the action of the centrifugal force field, while the solid granules are retained inside the drum by the filter screen and thus the solid-liquid separation is realized, top suspension centrifuges can be divided into the following two major categories:

 For relatively fine solid granules with compact texture, cylindrical drum is adopted, and the material can be scraped off the drum's wall by means of the radia and axial motions of the scraper to accomplish the process of material discharging. This type of centrifuge is known as Model XJZ.

 For coarse granules with loose texture, conic drum is adopted, and by means of immediate stop at the low speed of drum, the material is made loose by inertia and discharged by gravity. This type of centrifuge is known as Model XZ.

Applications

 The top suspension centrifuge is mainly used for the separation of glucose and high grade massecuite. At present, it has also found applications in other fields, such as intermediate massecuite, mannitol, potassium chloride, etc.

 With the ever-increasing progress in separating technique, this machine may also be used for a tryout for the suspension liquid materials containing solid crystal grains, of low viscosity, of good flowability , and with the general solid/liquid ratio (by weigh) being 45 ~ 60%.
